FSI Engineering has over 15 years’ experience in Designing, Fabricating, Installing and Commissioning Containerised Water Treatment Dosing Systems.
We build new Containerised water treatment dosing systems as well as upgrading old Containerised Dosing Systems.
Some of the recent containerised dosing systems we have built include:
SAR Treatment Containerised Systems (Sodium Adsorption Ratio Systems)
The FSI Engineering Sodium Adsorption Ratio Containerised Dosing System was developed as a mobile water treatment plant for CSG Water in Western Queensland. We provided the Design, Engineering, Construction, Mechanical, Electrical Installation and Commissioning of two of these systems.
The SAR treatment process uses powder magnesium sulphate and calcium sulphate, these chemicals are measured and batched into mixing tanks and then distributed through a dosing pump skid to the Outlet ports on the container for connection to the water source.
PH Neutralisation Systems (Carbon Dioxide Treatment)
The FSI Engineering containerized CO2 Dosing System treats highly alkaline water by injecting Carbon Dioxide into the water to reduce the pH to a more acceptable level of between 6 – 8 pH. The System consists of a 20 foot container housing a Water Dosing Tank, Two banks of CO2 cylinders, a circulation pump, CO2 injection lances and all of the pipework, valves and instruments required.
Lights mounted on the outside of the container provide visual indication of running status, faults or alarms and CO2 bottle change requirements. Automatic control of the system is provided by the PLC panel which utilises inputs from level switches, level transmitters, pressure switches and a pH transmitter to operate the pump and required valves during the CO2 Dosing operation. The HMI mounted on the electrical control panel (LCP) provides process status information to the operator and allows for the entry of process set points as well as Manual operation of the system. Operational data is logged to the HMI and stored on a USB stick.
